When a desk review should wait

Reasons we postpone an allocation review — mid-migration wallets, unfinished unlocks, and briefs that only want a price call.

Not every inquiry becomes a review in the same week. Waiting is sometimes the honest service.

Mid-bridge or mid-migration

If half the stack is in flight between chains, an allocation memo freezes a moving picture. We ask clients to settle the transfer, then book the desk.

Briefs that only want tomorrow’s price

We decline work that is really a request for entry timing. Wallet allocation and yield tracking reviews describe structure and schedules; they do not call candles.

Missing scope

A brief that says “look at everything” without naming wallets or protocols forces us to guess. Guessing produces soft memos. We would rather send a scoping questionnaire first.

If you are unsure whether your situation is ready, send a short inquiry — saying “not sure yet” is allowed.
